a:

The administrative offices of the Town of Colmar Manor (the “Town”) are open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

 

b:Tours and requests to license Colmar Manor Community Center facilities (“Facilities”) are by appointment only.

 

c:On the day of a scheduled event, the Facilities will be open for the contracted hours as stated in the License Agreement (the “Agreement”). All activities related to the event (decorating, deliveries and clean-up) must be done within the contracted licensed period.

 

d:

Unless agreed to in the Agreement, Facilities are available Sunday through Thursday until 11:59 PM and until 2:00 AM on Friday and Saturday nights. A Facility coordinator with full authority to speak for the Town will be present at all times during any licensing period.

 

e:

Event rehearsals may be scheduled at the convenience of the Town for which an additional fee may be charged.

a:The license fee includes the use of the particular facility licensed, together with appropriate entrance and exit areas, and specified restroom facilities.

 

b:The use of other Facilities is not permitted.

 

c:Licensee understands and agrees that their use of the Colmar Manor Community Center is not exclusive and that other licensees may be using other portions of the Facilities on the day and at the time of their License.

a:

The maximum capacity for the Facility for which you are licensed will appear on your Agreement. The maximum capacity is established by the Prince George’s County Fire Department and the Town has no power to alter it.

 

b:Licensee shall not permit the occupancy of the Facility it has licensed to exceed the occupancy limit. The occupancy limit includes Town representatives and staff, musicians, catering personnel, etc.

 

c:Should the Licensee permit the Facility to be occupied in excess of its capacity, the Town, through its on-site event coordinator or other authorized person shall have the right to immediately terminate the event, or to require such other remedy as they determine, in their sole opinion, to be necessary to remedy the overcrowding of the Facility.

 

d:No refunds will be issued if the event is terminated for room capacity violations.

a:

If there are alcoholic beverages present Licensee must ensure none are served to guests attending the event, who are not twenty-one (21) years of age.

 

b:All entertainment, including disc jockey, live bands, performers, etc. is subject to approval by the Town. Entertainment not approved in advance is not permitted. The use of unpermitted entertainment will result in the immediate cancellation of the event together with a forfeiture of all sums, including the security deposit.

 

c:It is the Licensee's responsibility to ensure that the event concludes within the licensed time schedule. If the DJ/band, caterers and/or guests remain in the facility past the scheduled time, the Licensee will be charged for the additional time in accordance with the Fee Schedule.

 

d:Musicians and other entertainers must be in proper attire and all entertainment must be of good taste and in keeping with the image of a government owned facility.

 

e:The Licensee is responsible for the behavior of their guests, caterer and entertainers.

 

f:The Town by and through its Coordinator reserves the right to remove the Licensee, guests, entertainers or any third party for unruly behavior.

 

g:License agrees that the town’s Coordinator shall have the right to control the volume of all amplified sound.
