Mission Statement:
The mission of the Colmar Manor Garden Club is to beautify the town of Colmar Manor with neighborly sharing of knowledge to garden, grow and prosper.
Background:
In the first year, 2010, the Garden Club installed plants under the Maryland Park and Planning Signs located at the parks in town. Next, the Garden Club cleared and readied soil for a garden at Newton Street vacant lot. In October, the children from the recreation council in town harvested the vegetables and pumpkins. The pumpkins were carved and used for decorations for the Recreation Council Halloween Party. In December, the Garden Club celebrated at a member’s house with Egg Nog in the Garden. We now have TWO community gardens.

The Colmar Manor Garden Club meets from 10 AM to 12 Noon on the third Saturday of each month (except August). Email colmarmanorcommunitygarden@gmail.com for meeting location.
